Goodwill Wednesday and Christmas Pics

I promised a Goodwill Wednesday, but I realized that since the holidays were so busy, I've not had time to haunt my local resale and thrift shops. So today I'm gonna give you a peek at past projects- even though they're kinda lame.
Also, I've noticed that most of my blogger friends have displayed crisp, beautiful photos of their elegant family Christmas. I just want you all to know that we did celebrate Christmas at my house and I'll share some not-so- beautiful pictures with you here today.

Now-here are my Christmas photos. Please keep in mind that I hosted an Ugly Sweater party for my family.

My daughter's boyfriend's sweet little girl...
The ugly sweaters line up for a vote.
My future daughter-in-law and my daughter.

My Sister Linda WINS the Ugly Sweater Contest!! She made it herself!!! What fun!

Here's to second hand finds, ugly sweaters, and awesome fun in the new year!!!

Love your Christmas pics!

And Linda's sweater is fabulous, especially the strategically placed poinsettias. But, I love your handsome son's sweater, too. Nothing says a confident man better than a sweater bordered in candy canes.

Yes, Linda's sweater is really something. And I also noticed the strategically places poinsettias! With all those bells you would always know when Linda is entering the room!
It looks like your family had a very fun Christmas.

First off thanks for liking my crazy home made Christmas sweater..it was a night before idea, or should I say nightmare! I highly recommend it for the bar scene...LOL!

I know there will be some GREAT goodwill finds and some fantastic ideas of how to make them useful...you always have an eye for seeing the possibilities in things that most people don't. You also have to at least include some of your artistic talent at least once a month or so.

The party was great and we all had a great time and many laughs!

Yes...here is to second hand finds and awesome fun in 2011! Looking foward to wednesdays.

P.S. I said I would be to your party with "bells on".

I love to see families celebrating the holidays together. I've reconnected with a high school friend whose family has a Christmas Vacation party every year, complete with Cousin Eddy's hat with ear flaps and Bullwinkle eggnog cups. You should be so proud of your families beautiful sweaters - Linda has such talent! :) It looks like a wonderful family party and thanks for sharing your pictures.
