I've got my summer blog up and running. I've titled it Tokens. Lots of memories here and some old favorites. Please bookmark me at: Tokens http://blogtokens.blogspot.com/
Hi! I have come over to comment regarding you wanting to start an herb garden and what would be best for keeping out deer. Well, for the most part deer like anything humans like however, they have a tendency to not like anything with strong scents to them. Garlic and onions crete a great barrier for your herb garden. Oregano, rosemary sage and thyme are best. Nothing is full proof unfortunatly but, these herbs help. As far as fertilizer, we compost so, that is always a great rich soil additive but, we do use horse manure every couple years to work into our gardens. No chemicals. I hope this helps!
